Open edition fine art giclée print of my original gouache and ink painting titled "Open Book of Tahquitz", a topo drawing of the classic climb up Tahquitz in Idyllwild, California. The iconic climb "Open Book" is the first ever route rated with the Yosemite Decimal System and was originally climbed in the 1940's and free-climbed in the 1950's.
Printed on thick, high-quality, acid-free archival Epson Fine Art paper.
PRINT DETAILS
This is for a paper print. All prints are made to order and each is hand-signed and titled individually.
Sizes shown are for the actual print size. All prints include a 1/4-inch white border surrounding the image for easy of framing.

WHAT IS GICLÉE?
In giclée printing, no screen or other mechanical devices are used, so there is no visible dot screen pattern. The image retains all the tonalities and hues of the original painting.
Giclée (pronounced Gee-clay) is a French term meaning to spray or squirt, which is how an inkjet printer works. However, giclée is not the same as a standard desktop inkjet printer, and giclée printers use special light-fast 'archival' inks, which if kept out of the sun, will remain true for up to 25 years.
